10 ways to sneak hemp seeds and oil into your diet.

By now you have no doubt heard that Hemp Seeds and Hemp Seed Oil are a natural superfood. They are packed with two essential fatty acids and are a great source of protein. Often a go to protein source for plant-based athletes.  However, we receive a lot of feedback from people unsure how to introduce Hemp Seed or Oil into their diet.

Here are 10 ways to start introducing Hemp into your diet:

  1. Hemp seed oil drizzled over your salad or mixed with olive oil and balsamic vinegar for a nice nutty and nutritious flavour.  Your GUT BACTERIA WILL LOVE IT!
  2. Add hemp seeds and oil to your home-made dips.  Such as avocado guacamole or beetroot dip.
  3. Top any steamed or stir-fried veggies with hemp seed and oil.
  4. Alleviate dry skin. Rub the oil directly onto dry, cracked skin. For a deep conditioning treatment for hands and feet.
  5.  Strengthen nails and heal cuticles. Massage a small amount of hemp oil directly into nails and cuticles—great for both fingernails and toenails.
  6.  Use hemp oil as an essential oil carrier for massage, will leave you feeling totally euphoric.
  7.  Add hemp seeds to your fruit salad for breakfast for a cleaner energising boost to the day. Get rid of that grain brain or wheat belly.
  8.  Make a hemp seed nut butter mixed with sunflower seed butter, tastes like peanut butter but much healthier
  9. Use Hemp milk in recipes, like berry delicious smoothies in the morning for an on the “I don’t have time to eat on go breakfast”
  10. Get your hemp ON. Yes, Hemp oil-based lubricant… beware though… as any oil-based lubricants will break down latex condoms. OOOPS
